I consider that one of my favorite books of all time. Was sooooo disappointed in the movie :/
It is one of my favorites as well! So good, right?
The film was somewhat disappointing, but what a daunting task it must have been to translate that book onto screen. I tried not to expect too much, considering the greatness of the book was the WRITING, mostly.
Also, it's nice to put in the DVD and re-live every now and then, rather than sit down on a whim and try to get through the long novel.
