So, this is my life.

And I want you to know that I am both happy and sad and I'm still trying to figure out how that could be.

running into an old flame on the street

that's what it felt like this a.m. when i heard one of my oldest, most favorite songs ever come onto the radio.
why aren't you on my iPod? i don't know. it's been years. everlong, if you will.
nice to hear from you again.
you're still sexy.

* * *
breathe out so i could breathe you in
and hold you in
and now i know you've always been
out of your head, out of my head i sang
*
*
*
and i wonder when i sing along with you
if everything could ever feel this real forever
if anything could ever be this good again
the only thing i'll ever ask of you
you've got to promise not to stop when i say when

.

What's more shocking is that you were listening to the radio.

Were you in a museum or something??

oh my blog, i know!

i never listen to a radio, which means i'm often behind on new music. speaking of which, have you heard the brand new alicia keys song... "no one"? or something like that?

anyway, the radio was on some alternative station in the office where i volunteer.

one of my favorites. i heard it this weekend in the car with my mom. needless to say, she hated it. such a shame. also, there is nothing wrong with the radio!
